Utah Trip: BYU

We pulled into Utah at about 10:00 last night after a wonderful drive.  The boys were the best they have ever been on a trip {and our kids are good travelers} which made the drive that much better.  Then this morning they were of course up at 7:00 so we got up and ate breakfast at the hotel.  Then we headed down to campus.  We drove by my old Heritage Halls dorm which is not there anymore {sad day} and then went and spent a paycheck at the BYU Bookstore {ok, not really that much}.  Then we grabbed some Subway at the Cougar Eat and headed up to the stadium for the game.  We had to be there early so we wouldn't miss Uncle Mike in the  marching band parade and then jam session before the game.  We also met up with Deb and John who drove down from MT to meet us at the game.  The boys loved seeing their cousins and sitting at the game with them.  After watching the band we found our seats and bought a re-fillable Cold Drink.  It was so flippin' hot at the game, we were pretty miserable by half time.  It was great to be back in the stadium and feel the energy {and it helped that we KILLED the other team}.  After the third quarter we headed back to the hotel to swim and cool off.  Then we picked up Mike and Cafe Rio and had dinner in our room.  Then we went swimming again and got dessert at the Malt Shoppe.  It was such a fun day and it was fun to be back in Provo at the Y.

My old dorm.

Luke was so HOT and tired at the game.
